Will no-one think of the Corgis???
My eldest was really impressed because by the time I was heading home his Mum was on his facebook feed – apparently I “sound really confident and know all the long words” ………………… erm! thanks son…. I think!!!
Now I must confess to be totally shattered … a very early start and haring around half the country and landing back at home to find that the Secretary of State for Scotland was standing outside Greggs in our High Street!!!
I just about contained my excitement (why do we not have an irony font? – we need an irony font!!!) You see Mr Carmichael is so rarely found in Scotland that the journalists at work refer to him as the “lesser spotted Carmichael”
Which means I have just about got a full house in the “Referendum Bingo” game we have been playing ….. we may be a teeny town but we have had all the big-wigs from both sides stop off and pay us a visit.
But I will tell you what – they came traipsing off their bus and were joined by this little chappie.
Everybody say “Awwwwwww” – Don’t care which way this doggie is voting he is so cute!!! Sorry Paul and your “wee ginger dug” …. but this one had the saddest wee puppy eyes on the planet.
So trains, Outside Broadcast Units, Costa coffees, Bananas, shopping for milk, Secretary of State for Scotland and cute doggies ………….. all that and I still made it to collect the wee red-head from school by the skin of my teeth
Its been a funny day all around ……..
………….. but long …………. far too long ………….. and the week is not nearly over!
